Handcrafted Artisan Jewelry
Masters of Design will explore art forms rooted in practicality through design, innovation, and skill. This includes any craft medium, including but not limited to woodwork, furniture, ceramics, metalwork, blacksmithing, glass, leatherwork, woodturning, fiber arts, jewelry making, beadwork, basketry, embroidery, stonemasonry, etc.
Whether utilizing time-honored techniques or cutting-edge technologies, these objects honor their history and connection to the handmade. Craft enriches the economic, social, and personal well-being of both the maker and the community, while linking us to our cultural heritage.
Today’s craft artist blends technical skill, a love of materials, and creative design, whether working in traditional forms or pioneering new applications. Masters of Design celebrates this combination of creativity, ingenuity, and exceptional craftsmanship, and we look forward to showcasing the very best of it. Opening reception on Friday, May 22nd, from 4-6 PM. The Reception is free and open to the public.
